We had originally planned to build a camp, but the cost was out of our budget. After researching manufactured homes, a trusted friend recommended McCants, having personally bought a home from them. Since they were the closest dealer to our property, we decided to meet with them—and we’re so glad we did!

From the start, Marcus McCants was fantastic. He was patient, knowledgeable, and thorough, guiding us through every step of the process. He helped us choose the Lulamae, the perfect home for our needs, and explained everything clearly. The office itself felt warm and inviting, a true family business. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Wade McCants, who was incredibly kind and generous.

What truly set McCants apart was their honesty and transparency. They set clear expectations on delivery timelines, post-delivery work, and our responsibilities regarding land preparation and permits. They even offered to help us prepare the land if needed!

When weather delayed moving our home from the dealership, McCants went above and beyond, giving us the keys so we could take measurements inside—this made ordering furniture so much easier!

Delivery Day: Everything went perfectly. The movers—who work directly for McCants—were experienced and professional, taking pride in their work. Many of them have been with McCants for years, and it showed.

Post-Delivery Service: Joey and his team handled all final patching and repairs flawlessly. Communication with McCants was seamless, and Katie did a fantastic job coordinating any last details.

From the day we ordered to the day we moved in was just 10 weeks—exactly as promised (even with the weather delay). Their service after the sale has been outstanding, with any minor issues resolved immediately.

Where do I start? RJ is a great salesman. That’s the extent of my positive feedback. Home took longer than expected to build but whatever covid screwed everyone. Only problem i had was the price increased in that time so they ran my credit again without my permission but it didn’t mess with their credit score so why would they care. I trucked in my own material to build my pad up and used their recommended guy to bring in his bulldozer and smooth it out. He told me since all he had to do was smooth it out it would only be $700 but Robbie was adamant that I don’t pay him that she would bill me for it. When I got the $1000 bill I soon found out why. It’s only $300 but it’s just the point that she had to get her little side hustle at my expense. Setup was a nightmare and they put the tongues under the trailer where my plumbing needed to go but that was my problem, not theirs. Refrigerator was scratched up but they dented the replacement so they just swapped the doors that still don’t close correctly. The ice maker had to be replaced two weeks later. Inside ac unit went out in less than two years and would you believe it only had a year warranty. Luckily the parts were unavailable so it only cost me $3500 for a new air handler. There’s a handful of other little knit picking things that weren’t to my liking but I’m getting aggravated thinking about it so I’ll stop here. They have been undependable and unprofessional through my entire warranty on my home. Katy is full of empty promises, does not recall what lies she tells you, or actually schedule repairs. My warranty expire over two months ago and I still do not have everything fixed. If McCants could receive a 0 they would. They have given me no reason to recommend them to anyone.

McCants has never sent me a bill… My walls, counter tops, cabinets, etc.. were not damaged by the hurricane. This is just more excuses and passing blame to the customer. This just shows how McCants conduits business and treats...
