Lakeside Cinema 6 — Local services in Woodward

My kids and I love our local movie theater. Movie theater has been a part of this community for decades, up until a tornado in 2012 took it out. After some major renovation (they demo'd it and built new)! Always nice and cool! Popcorn is always fresh, and the staff is friendly. For the most part the staff are young adults or teens, so do be patient. You should definitely plan to be there early, as concessions gets backed up pretty easily. They do offer tap pay methods! The bathrooms are always clean! I'm not a fan of the hand dryers, but you can air dry 😅 there is a small arcade that my kids enjoy from time to time. The only negative thing I have to say is the limited "waiting area" for purchasing tickets. If you wait to go at a busy time (like we've done countless times) you'll be waiting outside in the heat or the freezing winds until the ticket line creeps along. I love that we have a theater here. I also love the fact that they try to keep the most frequent movies in theaters. One thing I have to say that discourages me is that sometimes the staff isn't always friendly. Majority of the time they are, but I know that I go to the theatre once maybe a year and seems every time I go there is at least one person who seems to be unpleasant. Maybe just a bad day?? The manager, Brian, is a disgusting person and a liar. Don’t let your kids/teens go here alone. If he doesn’t like your kid or one of their friends he will make false, disgusting accusations about children for whatever reason and loves to flash his “badge” around as if he’s important and call the cops on kids who did nothing wrong other than being normal rowdy kids.. and when parents try to request proof of his accusations he presents NONE and has NONE and changes his story multiple times....
