I haven't been to church in over 6 years. Visiting my sister from Dallas for a few months and realized there's a church across the street. I first realized when driving in from Dallas but didn't know if it was a church, but I was very intrigued by the building. As weeks passed, my spirit was calling me to "just stop by". They had a superhero or Disney themed event one day and I sat in the backyard and sang along. So much fun! Im sure they heard me screaming "WOO HOO!!!", but had no idea where it was coming from. Few more weeks passed and I said, "I'm going to stop by someday soon." I prayed and asked God to soften my heart. To push me to really attend and see if the Pastor and congregation was of God. So, I stopped by today. Pastor spoke on "Telling the Truth". My spirit moved me and let me know this is a good Word. They are being used by God and and speaking through the Holy Spirit. I will be back again, by the good Lord's grace and thankful that KING JESUS allowed me to walk through the doors. Also thankful for 2 beautiful ladies by the name of Beth and I forget the other (sorry!). Also the warm welcome by Mr. Vernon and Rick. I look forward to praise and worship with everyone again. God bless you...
Read moreWe like to visit different churches when out of town. We chose to try out Crestview this morning. The kids enjoyed the donuts they had available for breakfast. We were greeted by Elder Mark Mitchell shortly after entering the building. He was such a nice man and made us feel completely welcome and comfortable. We enjoyed the song service so much there was a great uplifting vibe. We did not get to hear a sermon because the preacher was at another church preaching, but we did enjoy the update on their Honduras mission trip. We also enjoyed the youth Minister's morning shenanigans 😂. Running a triathlon before church is...
