Hiked Cucamonga, Bighorn, and Ontario Peaks from Icehouse Canyon trailhead on a Friday morning in October. Total came to 16.5 miles with 6000 feet elevation gain. You are certainly not going to the wilderness to just do Bighorn Peak. It's a nice add-on if you're already doing either Cucamonga or Ontario, or in my case, both. It was tough to find the trail from Cucamonga Saddle up to Bighorn, and it was slippery with loose stones. You don't really have any special views from the Bighorn summit. There's a board with the peak's name and elevation on it. Trail from Bighorn to Ontario is good, and easy to follow, so I guess people mostly do those...
