Hiked Cucamonga, Bighorn, and Ontario Peaks from Icehouse Canyon trailhead on a Friday morning in October. Total came to 16.5 miles with 6000 feet elevation gain. You are certainly not going to the wilderness to just do Bighorn Peak. It's a nice add-on if you're already doing either Cucamonga or Ontario, or in my case, both. It was tough to find the trail from Cucamonga Saddle up to Bighorn, and it was slippery with loose stones. You don't really have any special views from the Bighorn summit. There's a board with the peak's name and elevation on it. Trail from Bighorn to Ontario is good, and easy to follow, so I guess people mostly do those two together.

Trails were not bad at all. I only stayed for 10 minutes and went back down. But the view were amazing. The trails were well maintained.

Not really my favorite peak but if you're already up there might as well add it

Awesome views! Great place but I had mistaken it for Cucamonga in the snow. Had to down climb over to Cucamonga. Be sure to bring a gps if you're new to this hike and happen to be going...

80% of the crowd only goes to Icehouse saddle. A few head to Cucumonga. A few to Ontario. Trail up to Bighorn is rugged and overgrown (especially on north side). perfect...
