I have never personally shopped at Jerry's. But it's my father-in-law's deli of choice, so we figured a gift certificate would be perfect for his birthday. On our way there we encountered backed up traffic and needed to take a huge detour due to an accident turning our 12-15 minute commute into 40 minutes. We called Jerry's while on our way since they closed in 15 minutes and we knew we would be walking in with just a few minutes to spare. We figured the heads up would give them time to prep the gift card or even begin the process over the phone. My husband was told that the manager would be locking the doors at exactly 5pm and he wouldn't be helped unless he was in the building before hand. We pulled in front of their store on two wheels at 4:59pm and of course they had already locked the doors.

Read moreI went in on 03.28.20, Iâm new to the area and thought I would check it out and support a locally owned store vs a big box store. Most of the workers there were very nice! However, I went to the meat section to purchase some chicken the worker named Denise refused to help me because I didnât have a number. The customer behind me insisted she take care of me because I was there first & she told us both no. Which was rude to me because the customer who had been helped before me literally told her, âI donât have a numberâ and she helped him. When I got a number and was being helped by her she stood further away from me asking me what I wanted when I was literally standing in front of what I wanted. It was odd to me because the other customers were way friendlier than the actual customer service. However, the cashier & the person that bagged my food were both very nice. I doubt I will be back unless itâs an emergency which is unfortunate since itâs a 5 min drive...
