I visited Yazoo specifically to see Main Street both during the day (with the rainbow of shops lining the streets) and especially at night lit up for the holidays. I also figured I could partake in some always enjoyable small-town shopping, but unfortunately by the time I got there, the Downtown Marketplace was the only shop still open. Lucky for me, they more than made up for the lack of other places to shop because the Downtown Marketplace is really like dozens upon dozens of cool little shops in one! It is basically a fairly large collection of VERY varied vendors all selling different unique and cool wares (many of which are "home-made") around every corner. I absolutely loved browsing everything on offer, and I definitely picked up a few awesome items and souvenirs of my visit to Yazoo. And, best of all, the people running the place were just the friendliest, most welcoming, and attentive shop-runners you could ever dream up, so big thanks to all of them for making my detour to Yazoo so...
Read moreThis is downtown Yazoo, Ms. I was bored and just went for a ride. This one is hard to rate because it is fairly nice depending on what you're looking for. This is a small town. It was nice to me because the look was an a old downtown stuck in time with hot loud colors splashed on the buildings to give a touch of a feel of modernization. It was a mix match hodge podge of old vacant untouched store fronts and semi new age looking stores. Their were no big name stores but it was nice in the sense of taking a walk...

The people in this consignment shop were very friendly & accommodating.
Lots of booths with a lot of different things to look at for elthe whole family.
If we are ever in town again we will stop by.
Sadly this little area has seen its better days 😕....
