Great place to shop. Payless always has fresh vegetables and a fresh supply of meats so you can cook 🍳 once you get home. The only problem is some of their workers act like their high class cause they work for Mr. Calvo. They forget he's the land owner and they're the slaves, his regulators (supervisors\management) need to go around and whip some customer service into their employees\slaves. This is a problem in all branches of Payless. My wife said to minus two stars 🌟 for this reason and she's worked their for almost 10 years. She hates people with no customer service, no matter what business your in. She once got a lady fired from subway because she was rude to me. If you don't like your job quit, otherwise leave your problems at home, business...

what I like about this Payless is they have the nicest staff working there. not only that but they seem to know and remember all of the Customers names ! It's really amazing! It tells you that they really care about you. They are also very happy to take you directly to the item that you need w/out any hesitation. I really love the butcher department here too. They were able to cut up a large chunk of tuna into cube size pieces for may poke recipe. If I had to cut it up at home it would have taken forever! and it would have been a mess because none of my Knives are sharp enough to do the job right. ...

Aunty Esther here again, I just love Payless Supermarkets every location on the island. They carry a wide variety of meats, fruits, vegetables and can goods. Today, I am in the Maite location.
