I lived in the Randell townhomes for four years, to make this short and to the point, we have never caused any issues, have been very good tenants and paid our rent on time every single month. We have grown to love our neighbors and share our baked goods with them, the type of neighbor you could borrow eggs from or a cup of sugar if needed. My three kids became friends with the other children in the neighborhood and we made our home cozy and our own. Our den flooded, leaving tons of mold behind the walls and throughout the molding. I pushed for a mold remediation specialist to come in, and they refused, with maintenance saying killz spray should do the trick. Knowing there’s wet walls and mites pouring out of the walls. They gave us the option to move out, which we did. They eventually went on to rent the property out to someone else, after replacing the flooring, carpet, and bringing in a MOLD REMEDIATION SPECIALIST, which I know because my neighbors took note of this and notified me. I’m not sure how they sleep at night knowing they pushed a family out with three kids, just to remodel and make more money in rent. On top of this, we left the place spotless and they couldn’t even return us our full security deposit after spending hours cleaning and moving. I had to throw out so many of my own personal items because it grew mold and was infested with mold mites. After speaking with other neighbors, I quickly found out they dealt with roaches along with mice as well as mold too. Careful where you spend your hard earned money, folks.

I've been a resident of Parkview Place Apartments in Hagerstown Maryland for several years now and place high value on maintaining my resident status here because of the outstanding job management and maintenance staff does to ensure this is truly home for myself and family. Management staff has undergone a change as of late and still the quality provided to residents has not wavered during the transition.

As a former landlord, I take note to things most renters may not notice, such as: landscaping changes, signage, the approachable aspect (or lack thereof) of the management staff members, timely response to maintenance requests, and cleanliness of common areas.

To address the above-mentioned things of note: over the course of several years living here, we have witnessed many landscape changes. This allows for a sense of pride for residents because of how well-kept things are around the grounds. Maintenance staff members can be seen daily picking up anything misplaced and actively checking common external areas for safety concerns and continuously taking actions to provide a beautiful and safe place to call home.

Secondly, signage. Office staff members are faithful with posting schedule changes to inform not just current residents but perhaps future residents of why no one is in the office and they go above and beyond to explain why staff members are not available. This shows me, they genuinely care that one may need them and with that, it brings me to my next point. I have yet to submit a request for maintenance and not had it taken care of within 24-48 hours. Maintenance staff members have been in my apartment after hours due to an emergency water situation with the sprinkler system. Their response time was outstanding. Even after hours, maintenance staff presented themselves in a professional way and took care of the problem.

I have been a renter off and on during my adulthood and haven’t always had maintenance staff I trusted to be in my place of residence without me home. However, at Parkview Place Apartments, I deeply trust the maintenance staff and never bat an eye with them in my home. As a woman, this is important. They ensure whenever someone else needs to be present – such as pest control, they are too. When work does need done, staff takes time to clean up afterwards even. We consider the maintenance staff members a part of our family because we interact with them somehow, almost every day; whether it’s a door held open or a simple hello.

Lastly, cleanliness of common areas. We all can ensure our own apartment are clean but something I found truly enjoyable about living here, someone comes in weekly to clean the common areas. These folks are some of the nicest individuals I’ve had the opportunity to interact with. They hold doors, wish you a good day, will stop working so you can get by…how they act directly reflects our community – I believe and also the staff who hired them. I have also personally witnessed management cleaning common areas (sweeping salt or leaves).

Overall, we love living here and will call it home for as long as our lives need to. I cannot compliment the management and maintenance staff highly enough. From the kind spirited management staff to the trustworthy maintenance personnel, Parkview Place Apartments is a fantastic place...

BE CAREFUL. After filling out what kind of dog I have 4 times in the process of paperwork to move in, when it came time to move in they told me to bring a picture of my dog. When I brought it in they said she was a pitbull mix and was a restricted breed. I told them that no, she was not a pit mix, and gave them records from 4 different vets that all had her down as a lab/ terrier mix, which I had stated to them in the 4 times before when I was filling out information. They then proceeded to tell me that when they google a picture of a pit/lab mix, it looks like the picture of my dog. I told them that I understand but I have records from 4 professionals saying otherwise. They then told me that a terrier means a pitbull... as if a Yorkshire Terrier is the same as a pit. Even after showing my records and explaining everything, they told me that it is up to them to decide over professionals and told me on MOVE IN DAY that I had to give up my dog or not move in to the apartment. Never had a problem before with my dog living with me in pet restricted complexes. This was all after I had filed paperwork, collected money and had utilities to begin in the apartment I was supposed to be moving in to. If the whole thing is that a terrier means a pitbull, how come that was not mentioned when I had stated it before? And who are they to argue with 4 vets on what kind of breed she is. All of this happened on the day of move in after I had taken time off of work to move in and figure this out. EXTREMELY unprofessional to wait the day of to bring it up. If I would have known from the beginning that the way a pet looks is more important than legal records of what she is, then I never would have signed the lease to move in. Be careful when trying to move in, as they seem to change things on you last minute, not caring what professional records say, and not caring at all if it leaves you in...

My name is Reginald Alston. I have to say that my experience at Breezewood Apartments in Fredericksburg, VA is absolutely AWESOME! I have been living here for 1 year and 2 months, and I just renewed my contract for another year. from day one, when I applied for a unit, I was greeted with the best hospitality that anyone could ever have. I will never forget it! I served 20 years in the Army, and I truly believe that my first initial contact will let me know exactly how the rest of my stay would be, if I decided to receive a unit from Breezewood. I have to say that I was greeted with the warmest smile I have ever received by Kerstin Diaz. She treated me with the upmost respect. She sold me right then and there. Now, I have been a resident at Breezewood Apartments for 14 now, and Kerstin Diaz treats me like I am the only resident at the complex. she continues to treatment me with the upmost respect. If I have a problem with anything in my apartment, she takes care of it ASAP! One day I had a problem with my garbage disposal and I went and reported it to Kerstin Diaz, I swear the maintenance workers almost beat me to my apartment. That's how fast she makes things happen at Breezewood Apartments. because of her, I will definitely recommend my friends to come here. I have no problem making this my place of residence for many years to come. We have many nationalities living here in Breezewood Apartments, and Kerstin Diaz treats everyone like family. I Love It!
