Today was my first time at this thrift store and I found great deals and the prices were reasonable and affordable, but these are the problems that I had: 1. The aisles were really small and cramped, and I had to walk sideways in some of them. 2. The bathroom is (and still is) at an inconvenient location. 3. The place smelled like tobacco smoke. 4. Also, I found out that they will take Cash App, but they only take Visa and Mastercard at the front of the front of the store with an $10 minimum. On the plus side, the staff were nice and friendly and the prices were reasonable and affordable. The media section is full of a VCRs, VHS tapes, video games, and vinyl records. There were also 8 track tapes and cassette tapes as well. Would I visit again? Yes, but the aisleways could be a lot wider and get rid of the tobacco smells.

I’ve seen Schulte’s several times in my Maps suggestions, but only today have I finally hit “Start route” and gone on an adventure. Schulte’s Thrift Yard is exactly that: an adventure. An adventure back in time and into others’ pasts. There’s something for everyone, from modern secondhand clothing to vintage to tools to glassware and collectibles. I picked up a few things and the owner was very kind about letting me know prices when I asked. There was even an extremely kind offer made when I was unable to afford something I had brought up to ask about. I’ll never forget that kindness and I hope someday I’m able to repay Schulte’s for it. I can’t wait to come back and bring my friends. This place is a total treasure trove, and there’s so much to look through and see!

Omg what an amazing experience! I do not live in Youngstown and wasn't exactly sure what to expect while visiting Schulte's Thrift Yard. I had so much fun picking through everything and seeing all the different items in the store. Yes, it is a bit disorganized but personally that is my absolute favorite way of thrifting. If you are a picker like me, go check this place out! Lots of women's clothes from early to mid 2000s! So many Halloween decorations also. There is literally something for everyone! Also, the owner was absolutely welcoming. He is such a kind gentleman making the experience that much better! I will be back some...
