I want to thank Speales for a magical experience dealing with ordering flowers. I am currently working in West Virginia, and like most guys I almost forgot my wonderful wife's birthday in Lafayette. I left an email on Saturday on the website and amazingly got a reply on Sunday from the owner, Thomas. I asked him would it be possible to have different colors roses delivered the next day and he assured me that can happen. I left my phone number and recieved a call bright and early the next morning. The lady on the phone was very polite and delightful while listening to my self inflicted circumstance. She let me know not to worry they would have my order delivered ASAP. I received a call from Shelly at 1:37pm that she just delivered my order that left my wife with tears in her eyes. They did an awesome job on the arrangement. The cost was not as much as I thought it would be and all aspects of this business was top notch customer service. Highly recommend any husband with a faulty memory, such as mine, to have this business pull them out of the dog house they are heading too. Not to mention any standard floral service anyone may need. Having worked in the floral industry, I know both value and quality. I researched florists in Lafayette before settling on Spedale's Florist and I was NOT disappointed. Our funeral spray was chosen by a photo I liked, and it was the prettiest/fullest/ and best constructed of any of the sprays there. The arrangement was almost exactly like the picture selected with substitutions I ok'd. It was beautifully three-dimensional (not flat as a lot of designers seem to create), full, and the flowers fresh and perky. I cannot say how important these little details are when ordering for a loved one who has passed. I would HIGHLY recommend this florist for your floral needs--believe me, I am PICKY. Also worth mentioning, the receptionist who took my order (Sandy?) was attentive, kind, and easy to work with. The pitiful bouquet you delivered to my daughter was an embarrassment. This is the first and last time I use your services. I, as a florist, actually could not believe you had the nerve to deliver this knowing it cost nearly a hundred bucks!!! I could have picked the bouquet you delivered up at Super1 for 15 bucks!!! There was hardly any blue in it!!!! It was all yellow and white!!! I paid for the most expensive bouquet because this was my first grandchild. My God what in the world does the cheap bouquet look like??? The flowers that were there which was all yellow and white filler flowers were all drooping!!! I had to go out and get flowers and make my own bouquet before my daughter got to her room. So disappointed that I wasted my money!!! You live and learn!!! Shame on you!!!
