I purchased my first home last August. I've never owned a home, never had flowers, never had a house plant. I grew up in a city. I have no idea what I'm doing. I went to Home Depot and Lowes and the plants looked kinda....I dunno... not really vibrant. They were fine, nothing wrong, but just not something I'd spend my money on. Then I went here, because I'm not from Ypsi and didn't know his area existed, and holy butts. These plants are beautiful. They are also way less expensive and they had just as much, if not more, variety. This next part of the review probably won't make sense in 5+ years. Everyone was wearing masks! Everyone was standing 6 feet apart. Everyone was respectful of social distancing. This is so much better then EVERYWHERE else!!!!

Local spot run by people who grew up here. The produce is always fresh. There are tons of plants both flowering and vegetables. Wonderful spot wonderful people!

I was a frequent shopper at Coleman's and have had the worst experience with a grocery store as well as the worst customer service! I purchased a cart full of produce and the bagger placed it in a box that was covered in bird feces which I was unaware of until all the produce was in my refrigerator and I noticed that my muskmelon and banana's were completely covered in bird dropping debris. When calling Coleman's, the girl was unapologetic but said that she would replace the produce. When I returned the goods, I explained why I was returning the produce and that it was unacceptable for a regular customer be exposed to this kind of contamination, but I am a pregnant and the majority of this produce made its way into my refrigerator. The two cashier's never apologized and one even said, "Are you kidding me?!", the other claimed that it was not her fault. They also made it seem like eating food contaminated with bird feces was no big deal. Packaging produce in boxes contaminated with potential disease causing feces not only put me and my husband at risk but more importantly, my unborn child. I will never return to this market and will now have to throw everything on the bottom half of my...

Update: This is our first time being able to go at the beginning of the season. THEY HAD SO MUCH STUFF! I purchased many things this trip. I ended up getting a few houseplants that I had never seen before (a chocolate solider succulent, and a purple velvet. Those are just the 2 I purchased, but there were more. They also had a large selection of herbs and garden plants. Not to mention all of the produce and flowers. It was also the first time I have seen apple butter outside of box stores in a very long time time I love it there
