Stay faded barbershop — Local services in Yuma

First time getting a haircut at this place. ONLY COME HERE IF YOU NEED A LITTLE BOYS HAIRCUT, that’s all they know how to do 💀 Came in and they immediately handed me off to most likely the new guy that doesn’t know what he’s doing. Asked him to take 1 inch off and clean up the sides, pretty simple haircut, my hair is thick and curly so I understand it may take a little but more than hour later I leave with my hair completely thinned out in the front for some reason and uneven in the back? And he took off about 2 1/2 inches. I wear glasses too so I can’t see until the cuts done. There was no conversation during the entire cut, no questions as to if he should even be doing anything extra to my hair. Nothing. Just him talking to the other barber who was brushing their teeth and spitting loogies into the sink right next to me. Heard good things about this place and got referred by a friend but yeah.. no. Called to make an appointment and no one picked up after many tries, so I decided to show up without one. When I got to the barbershop there was only a young kid there, who was asleep in one of the barber chairs. Woke him up and found out he was one of the barbers. I asked for one of the barbers, who I think is named Omar. Omar wasn't there so he offered to cut my son's hair. I was in a hurry so decided to give him a chance. When he was finishing up my son's haircut I noticed he was cutting my son's skin with the clipper so there was no point in telling him to try and better my son's haircut. Very disappointed about my son's haircut today. Omar did a great job last time, but this time my son's haircut is uneven, bald patches here and there, and you can see the line where the fade is supposed to be. Not worth the money. Bounced around a lot to other barbershops to yake my son to last 2 years. Had ok experience for my. A few bad. But I was still looking. First time here at Stay Faded this past weekend. Was recommended this place by my gym partner. Was a walk-in. Loved the atmosphere. Reminded me of the barbershop I used to go to back home in Los Angeles. Great barbers.
