Last Thanksgiving I purchased one of your whole hams bone in at Henry’s Market after friends recommended it. Thought 75.00 was ver expensive but it was worth it because it was the best ever. This year I went back for another one and price had gone up to 120$ put remembering how good it had been paid it and took my 22# ham home. It was the worse ham I have ever had. Cooked same as previous year and ham was ALL FAT and no meat. No one even wanted to take it home to use it for cooking. Henry’s told me they could do nothing but to contact Ossian directly. We were so disappointed. There were layers of yellow fat throughout the entire ham. Wish I could say I would try one again next year but I wasted 120.00 $ and in this economy...

I have been getting the bone in ham for 20+ years from Ossian meats. Even when I moved to FL I would go to the plant on my visits to IN to bring them back with me. Now that shipping is reasonable again I just had one shipped so we can smoke it at Thanksgiving. You will Not be disappointed with any of their meats.... Best there is!!!!

Update 2024. Ordered our ham for xmas and from placing the order to arriving here in FL it was only 3 days. It arrived perfect. Thank you Ossian Meats......we love your...

If this is the place responsible for Hoosiers Pride ham, I have a huge complaint. I made a whole ham for Easter, (9 lbs) I baked it at 350° for 2 1/2 hours, it was awful! The meat was slippery even after cooking it as stated above. I put it back in the over for another 45 minutes and it still seemed undercooked. I lost $22.00 and my families Easter dinner. I will never buy Hoosiers...
