This is always a great place and it always from my vendor standpoint has good business. The people are fantastic and are always friendly. Although this year the public works which runs it managed to throw everybody out prior to a storm and why I say prior was like 3 hours before it hit causing all vendors to lose 3 hours worth of business at the peak time of sales. When people didn't move as fast they wanted they called the police and to have them moved faster. I think this was really important it shows that the city should not be managing this event they don't do it very well or quite incompetent at it. It was much better approach in the way this could have been handled and it would have offended a great deal less. Also anyone that day yesterday was told they were not honoring bracelets even if you just purchased it walking in 10 minutes prior to being asked to leave you had to buy a totally new bracelet the next day I don't think this was...

Stage with good bands/ music, re-enactment fights, nature walk thru time period camp, gift tents. Food vendors with: pizza, steak dinners & sandwiches, brats, hot dogs, hamburgers, loaded fries, lemon shake-ups, kettle corn, beer, etc. (I had the steak tips with mashed potatoes, mushrooms & onions. It was delicious.) The food prices are the average County or State Fair prices. / Camp fire in the middle. Many people come dressed as Vikings....
