I attended a private day tour with John visiting the Solar Furnace and Sokok. The whole day was excellent. He was very knowledgable (graduated at tourism) and talked a lot about Uzbekistan's history, culture, the people there, and his plans about the development of and new directions in the Uzbek tourism, which was very interesting. Additionally, he was very helpful and made an extra turn with me to the airport for my delayed luggages. Finally, we ended the day with a refreshing yogurt soup (called guja) at a local restaurant.
