Can't recommend this place highly enough! It's a beautiful calm oasis away from all the chaos, the garden is beautiful and full of butterflies and various flowers and plants and herbs, all with description signs. It's run by the nicest team, who will give you a guided tour of the garden and then show you a bee hive and impart so much knowledge about the bees. Their English is amazing and the tour was extremely interesting! We then got to do a taster of various honeys (the kumquat was my favourite!) and eat and drink the most delicious (and reasonably priced) honey infused food. ( We ate the food too quickly for photos!) Honestly, what a gem 😍
On top of that, my partner and I discovered that night that we'd lost our wallet with all our cards and money (and the last place we'd used it was the bee farm) . Despite it being dark and well past closing hours, the Ánh Trần (Mr.), the very kind owner and his team went out and searched the gardens for it. They tried again in the morning and when still no luck, he helped me put a post on the local Facebook groups and volunteered to be the main contact should anyone get in touch but need a translator! What a star ⭐
Sadly, the wallet was never to be found ...but what was found was this beautiful bee farm and its lovely team, the absolute highlight of our time on Phu Quoc, so in a way, it was worth the pain of trying to get a new bank card sent from Scotland to...
Read moreI can’t recommend this place enough. Free entry and you are given the most informative and insightful tour around the beautifully maintained gardens. We got to taste some of the herbs and spices being grown and learnt so much. Seeing the bees was fantastic and again our lovely guide (who spoke fantastic English) taught us plenty. We popped into the shop and cafe afterwards where we could sample various honeys (raw and infusions) and buy honey too (available in many sizes/flavours/forms). The shop has something for everyone and is so reasonably priced so if you can afford to buy something, please do, so that this wonderful bee farm can continue to open to the public. The cafe has a wide range of honey infused food and drink (again very well priced). We opted for a coffee with honey and a ginger, lemongrass and honey infused iced tea - both of which were very refreshing and presented lovely.
This was a true highlight of my visit to Phu Quoc so far and I’d recommend it to anyone - well worth the trip. Thank...
Read moreA truly phenomenal and charming place in every sense. It's a lush, dense, herbal garden covered in a large variety of fruit trees (all produce is organic and pesticide-free) with a cure and quaint cafe located in the centre. We were offered to sample all the different types of honey when we arrived and the combination of flavours were incredibly delicious and blew our mind. This is a family-ran operation and you're certainly made to feel at home when you arrive - everyone was lovely and welcoming and we wished we could've stayed over night. The owners are truly passionate about preserving the delicate eco-system of the earth and bees are central to this ambition. This is a paradise for nature lovers and those who have an appreciation of the importance of good food, preserving and working with nature and appreciate the vital work bees do in sustaining our crops worldwide. You simply must visit if you're in the area. Best eco-venue in Phu Quoc...
