Non è vero che i prezzi sono astronomici: gli oggetti da poco si pagano poco, gli oggetti di buon calibro e fattura si pagano per quel che valgono. Il cambio permette comunque di risparmiare moltissimo. È chiaro che una collana da 30.000 euro (trentamila euro) in Europa la paghereste 40.000 o forse più. Ma di quelle ne troverete un paio mentre a buon mercato trovate moltissimo. Chi ritiene che le tappe obbligate siano una fregatura, stia fuori a fumare. È una tappa obbligata. Si spende dai 50 ai 1.000 eur per oggetti piacevoli in massima parte con perle e argento ma anche in corallo, corno e madreperla, pelletteria in coccodrillo, vitello e anche di minor qualità, scarpe (stile Viet) e borse.
