Rude, aggressive, untrained and guards who were not wearing any uniform or form of identification treated me and my colleague very badly and detained us in the mall for over an hour because we did not get a gate pass. Although we attempted to explain that we were not given a pass when we drove in, they attempted to get us to pay $20 to replace a pass we had not been given. We eventually had to call their boss to report them. None of these guards apologised because we were black women and this incident occurred with absolutely no repercussions for what happened. The security system at the complex is very poor. I got into the complex and the security guard did not give me a gate pass as he wasn’t by the gate when I entered the complex , on getting out they couldn’t let me out because I didn’t have the gate pass. They also don’t have CCTV cameras to prove that I hadn’t been given the gate pass, all they cared about was that I pay a fine of $20 because they claimed I had lost the card. My ratings are based on a one time experience, the parking is secure, l like that because am very mobile and secure safe parking becomes a priority. The Shopping centre is situated in the surbuban side of the city. Most things are at reach; you got banking, supermarkets, pharmacy, food court, Café( breakfast or a quick sit-in lunch. Security Guards patrol the area and you can always ask them for any assistance regarding the Centre.
