Great water slides (2 seater raft slide and separate, individual water slide).
Fantastic little swimmer slides, water buckets, and splash pad area.
Good landing/splash area leading to deeper water for the acclimated swimmers. No diving boards. Concessions available.

We went for an after hours party. Friends had rented the park to celebrate their children's birthdays. Everyone from the eldest adult to youngest child had such a wonderful experience. Staff very friendly and courteous! Highly recommend for private parties!

Went here on June 25th, 2022. It was a busy day when I went. My kids loved it! If your driving far, definitely try calling ahead to see how busy it is. I recommend to get here early so you'll find a parking spot, sitting spot, & enjoy your family day out.

Our carefully planned road trip came undone and we scrambled to find alternative stops to fill the day. Mary found a reference for a restored rail depot in Dennison, a short half-hour drive from Bolivar. We switched gears and headed south on US 77 to what turned out to be the best stop of the trip. The immaculately restored Dennison Rail Depot was a locomotive repair shop that became better known as a stop for troop trains carrying servicemen west during World War Two. The depot was restored to its configuration during the war with displays in the depot building and railcars.
We were welcomed on entry and found that veterans are admitted free of charge in honor of the servicemen who passed thru Dennison on their way to the front. An average of 20 trains a day, each carrying 400-700 men, stopped in Dennison each and every day from 1942-1946. That is more than 10,000 men and women EVERY day. The local community quickly saw an opportunity to offer a helping hand and established a Serviceman’s Canteen offering a sandwich, fruit, and coffee to every hungry GI. I can’t image how the folks operating the canteen produced 10,000 sandwiches a day with the constraints of rationing, but they did. So welcome was the food and friendship offered, that the GI’s came to know Dennison as “Dreamsville.”
Parking for the depot is on the street opposite the main entrance. A small café used to operate in the depot but has since closed. The staff offers a short orientation to a self-guided and self-paced tour that takes you through the depot and onto actual train cars. Several of the cars offer displays on the social impact of the war on the community. Other cars are restored to their troop train configuration. Of special note is a car configured as a mobile hospital with provision for a small medical staff to care for injured and wounded troops. The train portion is a bit long to walk but can accept walkers and wheelchairs. There is even a restroom available on that part of the tour.
This is a superb museum staffed by friendly and welcoming staff. I can only imagine the memories that rose up in veterans who last visited Dennison on their way to war. To help young children enjoy the visit, there is a large N-Gauge model train display and other fun educational activities. Yes, there is a gift shop with a wide variety of mementos, shirts, and toys. I wish I could give the Depot more than 5 stars.

We were on a homeschool field trip, and I wasn't sure that I was going to be able to entertain the kids here, but thought that it was worth a try.
I was wrong, I was so, so wrong. This museum is AMAZING for kids. They can touch almost everything in the museum, they loved the scavenger hunt, and my 7 year old told me that it was part of the "best day ever." They have been wearing their museum necklaces since they got home. I made them take them off for bed and my daughter put hers on the next morning before she even left her room from waking up. The staff member who was there on the day we visited was knowledgeable and friendly to the kids.
I think this would be a great visit for teens/adults as well. I wanted to look at and read all the exhibit information, but with two small kiddos that was hard.
If you are trying to decide if you should visit, the answer is yes.

I've been to a number of different museums that cover World War II whether it's the Imperial War Museum in London or the D Day Museum in Bedford Virginia. This is the first museum that I can recall which honors the contributions from the home front.
Dennison Depot was a stop for these soldiers on the way to the front and the town went out of their way to ensure they were supported, serving up thousands of gallons of coffee and millions of cookies and so much more. The museum itself is a series of railroad cars that have been recovered and restored. As you walk through the cars, there are signs and captions that show the history, explain the memorabilia and more.
Friendly folks who were happy to have a visitor this morning. I found the display really interesting and well worth the price of admission.
