An amazing gem of a museum. Currently exhibiting artist Ezra Tucker who paints, huge, realistic, and gorgeous canvases of animals. Ezra highlights in his paintings a number of Black Americans who served their country in brave ways. There’s also an artist in residence who has created fantastically detailed scratchings of wildlife. But the most amazing part of the museum for me was the taxidermy collection on the second floor, which included a number of extremely rare as well as extinct animals. The taxidermy section lacked explanation labels, which would really benefit visitors.

I was absolutely blown away by this hidden gem! I've passed the mansion dozens of times and never thought to visit the museum, and I'm so happy I did. The artwork is stunning and the weekend volunteer was so pleasant and informative! Once you ring the bell and are invited in, you are shown around. There are two floors; downstairs houses paintings and sculptures and the upstairs is home to an extensive array of taxidermy from all over the world. If you are a love of the arts or nature, this place is worth a trip!

Amongst the whereabouts of different places or venues to visit on a whim ( or not), Blauvelt Art Museum holds a worthwhile attraction. Here one can drift into nature and build a quick appreciation for the other world around us. It is important, if not imperative to realize we share this planet with those creations that, in my book, are respectable and equally about mankind thru the centuries. Lose yourself for an hour or so, it will regenerate your spiritual being.

Art museum and gallery is dedicated to wildlife animal art depiction. I have liked current exhibition of Guy Coheleach and Aaron Yount paintings. Outdoor animal sculpture collection worth separate mention. It is ironic that former carriage house, where the art museum is located, is much better preserved than founder’s mansion house…

A nice little hidden gem for Art lovers, & It's free. They change exhibition every so often, so check the website for current listing. The lady was super nice and helpful. Cute outdoor sculptures & beautiful paintings inside & a nextdoor haunted mansion as a bonus.

Fresh organic greens and all sorts of vegetables off their field in summer ... Super friendly owners ..Bruce and his wife Mary, and also their daughter ... among the best people on the planet! Bruce is a down to Earth organic farmer. He loves the land. He can make any stubborn seed grow to full blossom. This is a family run operation, he is the main workhorse, at least in the field. He is also a super nice guy to talk to. And ... an unbelievably good mechanic as well.

We found out about this art studio as we were invited to a birthday party. They had a huge room full of art materials of all sorts. There were multiple associates running the whole party, making sure kids are going to different art activities in timely manner. They all wear cute pink jumpsuits, full of color stains and markings, looks so cool. They also assisted with cake cutting ceremony and pizza party. And finally during farewell they were helping with handing over the party gifts and the art paper each kid created. I was throughly impressed with their service. The whole space is very colorful. Their entrance lobby has a beautiful couch, decorated for sitting area. The kids party starts at $675 for 12 kids, which is a very decent price. Other than parties they also have art camps and classes. Wonderful place for kids to run wild with their imagination and pit their art skills in various forms of color, shapes, and creativity.

We love everything about Yellow Door! Summer camps are fun, creative and inspiring. They host different projects everyday throughout the week and alternate from traditional art media to fashion! Arty Parties are THE BEST! Not only did I get compliments and rave reviews from the parents, but all the kids had a blast! Pick a theme, pick your project, and the lovely artists at Yellow Door do the rest! They played music that matched my daughter’s theme and everything! 10/10 thank you Lauren, Jean and Mackenzie for making Waverly’s day truly magical!

We had our daughter's 6th birthday party here and it was PERFECT. There were so many awesome open ended art projects to choose from for her party. She chose to paint disco balls. The kids had so much fun doing it and all the parents texted after to say how amazing the disco balls turned out. There were also awesome activities offered throughout the party so the kids were always engaged. This studio is incredible and Lauren and the crew made the whole experience so easy and fun.

We had our daughter's birthday party here this past weekend. It was such a cool and unique experience. All our guests were raving about the place. The highlight was the awesome project that every kid got to take home. The ladies helping out made everything run smoothly and I really didn't even need to lift a finger. If you're looking for something different than the average trampoline birthday party, I highly recommend Yellow Door. Classes are great as well.

The fact that my boy gets to bring home his own piece of art that he is so proud of just really seals the deal for me. He had so much fun at our drop in class we booked the rest of the semester! Every morning he wakes up and sees his art on the wall and gets so happy. Today he’s so excited to go paint and see all the other kids. If you’re on the fence just book one class and test it out you won’t regret it!
