"Had a fantastic foodie time in Nice! Will definitely come back!!"

Being a food blogger who "only tells the truth after real tastings," I’m here to share some hits & misses from my culinary adventures in Southern France 😚 💯 HIT LIST 📍La Vague No reservation needed—just walk in! Their pesto snails made me, a first-time snail eater, absolutely obsessed. SO GOOD!! The bread served with the pesto is also amazing. Their seafood paella was decent, but the giant octopus leg on top was incredible—just order a full plate of grilled octopus instead! 📍Zeni Coffee An amazing local brunch spot!! The pancake burger is insanely filling—one plate kept me full till late night. The basil fries were delicious 😋. Another dish, the cheesy eggs, was recommended by the owner and was out-of-this-world good 🥹. The roasted pumpkin was also unreal—how can something taste this good?! (Pro tip: When unsure, ask the staff for their recommendations/top sellers—it usually leads to great surprises!) 📍Deli Bo A local-favorite dessert shop. Their giant cranberry macaron was SUPER DELICIOUS!!! The filling was lychee cream, wrapped in raspberries, balancing the sweetness perfectly. The berry aroma was heavenly!!!!! The chestnut cake we also ordered was a bit too sweet, but this giant macaron was mind-blowing 😭. 📍Bakery By Michel Fiori Locals say this place has the best croissants in Nice—go in the morning!!! By late morning, many flavors were sold out. We got matcha and pear, both with a molten center, and the pear one was even better. The flaky layers were perfection—best enjoyed hot 🤩. 📍Random canelé from a bakery Tasted different from the ones in China—much stronger honey flavor, which was unique! Highly recommend trying all kinds of French pastries, even from random bakeries. Most are better, more refined, and cheaper than those back home. 📍Menton’s gelato Order lemon, orange, and lavender flavors together—it’s a magic combo! The mix of sour, sweet, and fragrant is addictively good! 🗑️ MISS LIST ✒️Gusti A highly recommended "affordable & tasty" Nice restaurant, but in reality, it’s overpriced and mediocre. Unless you have no other options, skip it. ✒️O’tacos Nice A fast-food joint near the train station. It’s impressively bad—just don’t even try it! #TravelForFood #EatingIsTheRealDeal #StudyAbroadVlog #NiceFood #SouthOfFranceCuisine #MentonFood #NiceTravel #WorldFoodCapital #FoodDiary #FoodReview
