[ Narooma near Canberra ] Oyster Town šŸ¦Ŗ

At the end of 2021, I took advantage of the New Year's Eve to go to the coastal towns of Narooma & Batemans Bay east of Canberra with friends. It's only a 3-hour drive šŸš— from Canberra! šŸš© Mill Bay Boardwalk You can see sea lions šŸ¦­ by the seaside (parking location šŸ…æļø Apex Park Parking) šŸš© Australia Rock A rock šŸŖØ shaped like the map of Australia, which is super photogenic! You must come to take photos here. šŸš© Bodalla Dairy Shed A milk ice cream shop with great milkshakes. We even stopped by again on our way back to buy another one~ You can feed milk to the calves from 10 am to 4 pm every day. šŸš© Tilba Town The town is not big, and the colorful little houses are so cute, like stepping into a movie scene, full of local characteristics~ The whole street is lined with small shops to browse, including specialty candy and chocolate stores, leather goods stores, and aromatherapy shops! šŸš© ABC Cheese Factory You can buy the town's specialty cheeses, cream, and milk here šŸ„› šŸš© Tilba Valley Winery & Alehouse There's live music here! It's perfect for relaxing on the way! ā° Opening hours: 10 am - 4 pm šŸØ Accommodation: Tilba Accommodation - Two Story Guesthouse We decided to go on a road trip on a whim, and by the time we looked, all accommodations near New Year's Eve were fully booked. We only found this one in a nearby town! It was a lucky choice, and it was pretty good! The room was small but cozy, and in the morning, the host provided local specialty cheese šŸ§€ and juice šŸ§ƒ šŸ„” Recommended restaurants: šŸ½ Wray Street Oyster Shed An oyster farm šŸ¦Ŗ in Batemans Bay The oysters are freshly harvested the same day, good quality and affordable~ Even friends who don't really like seafood thought they were good, with little fishy smell! Their shrimp is also highly recommended, very clean with no veins! šŸ½ Inner Boatshed Highly recommend their Fish & Chips; you can taste how fresh the fish is in one bite. I think their oysters are not as good as the ones from the restaurant mentioned above šŸ‘† After seeing the sea, I missed home even more šŸ˜­ I've seen so many seas - the sea at sunrise, the sea at sunset But the one I like and miss the most is the sea in Weihai I've walked many roads, but the one I love the most is the road back home #Canberra #NewYearsEveDestinations #CanberraLife #Narooma #BatemansBay #DiscoverCanberra #CanberraSurrounds
