2025 Cultus Lake Delta Grove Two-Day One-Night Camping Trip
Our third camping trip of the year finally brought us to Cultus Lake! 🎉 And guess what? We managed to snag the Delta Grove campsite, which is the closest to the lakeshore! 🏕️ ⛺ Our site was D20, right next to a vault toilet (which was decently clean, no complaints!). 🏖️ Just across from our spot was a small sandy beach (check out Photo 4!)—literally a 10-second walk to the water. The location was PERFECT! 🚿 The shower area (with actual showerheads!) and flush toilets (hygiene level: meh) were about two sites away. It would’ve been even better if staff cleaned the facilities more regularly, though. 🌊 We spent the entire afternoon playing in the lake, skipping stones, and soaking up the sun. The water was crystal clear and surprisingly not too cold! At night, we took the kids out for a starry lakeside stroll—absolutely magical! ✨ 🥩 Dinner was next-level delicious: Korean BBQ + tomato beef stew + instant noodles (because why not?). Our portable power station was a game-changer—so convenient! 🔋 🔥 Unfortunately, there was a fire ban, so no campfire or charcoal grilling this time. Still, we made the best of it! 🌙 Slept like a baby—no noisy neighbors, fewer crows cawing 🐦⬛, and barely any mosquitoes! A rare and peaceful camping experience. ☀️ Woke up early the next morning, grabbed a steaming cup of coffee, and just sat by the lake, listening to the gentle waves. Pure bliss. ☕💙 ❤️ Good thing we’re coming back in two weeks for another two-night stay on the other side of the lake—otherwise, leaving would’ve been way too hard! 👀 Any fellow campers gonna be at Sunnyside from August 8-10? Let’s meet up! 😆 #VancouverLife #VancouverCamping #CoquitlamLife #NightAdventures #HealingCamping #CampingFun #CampingMemories #LetsGoCamping
