Originally planned for Chinese food, but last-minute, we switched to Alo—and what a fantastic decision it was! First-time experience at this iconic spot. Called ahead—dining room was fully booked, but they had seats in the bar room (3rd floor). The tasting menu here is 6 courses instead of 10, but you can order à la carte from the main menu. Our Order: 🍽️ Tasting Menu (Bar Room) • Upgraded to Ribeye Steak (for me) • Lamb Chops (for my friend) Highlights: 🥩 Wagyu Ribeye – Melt-in-your-mouth perfection! Cooked to ideal doneness, paired with a mustard sauce that elevated every bite. Unreal texture—so tender yet firm! 🍖 Lamb Chops – Juicy, flavorful, and zero gaminess. Other dishes were more about presentation than crowd-pleasing flavors—some salty, some bubbly, but all thoughtfully crafted.
