If perfection was a place, Alo Alo would be it. I have absolutely no complaints. The service was top notch from the welcome to the moment we left and our waiter Kumbirayi was especially friendly and very helpful. We visited this place on the 23rd of July for a birthday lunch as a party of ten and what a wonderful way to spend the day.
The food was in very generous portions, fast prepared and very very very delicious. For the birthday girl, they even had a complimentary dessert and not just a lame looking last minute thing but I'm talking several layers of icecream presented neatly and beautifully.
Now to the atmosphere. Their instagram page does not do the place justice. You want a quiet, unique out of this world place. Alo alo is just the place to visit. It is clearly a cat loving restaurant and I just loved what they did with all the decorations, makes you regard that cat association with old single bored ladies as utter nonsense!

The food had its moments. We ordered chicken and chips and other several dishes, which were alright, though a bit bland. The chicken livers stood out as a highlight, and the malva pudding was delicious—a definite hit. The lighting could also be improved, especially at night, to enhance the ambiance and dining experience. Alo Alo has potential, but some adjustments could...
