Alo Alo has always been on my wish to visit list. I don’t know what it is but there is something about visiting a restaurant that gives you water, and bread before your meal. My companions ordered the crumbed mushrooms as well as the salmon appetizer. Everything was beautifully prepared. I decided to go for the curry main but it was all now a bit too much as the portions were generous. The ambiance is unique but be prepared to pay for a quality meal with great service.

If perfection was a place, Alo Alo would be it. I have absolutely no complaints. The service was top notch from the welcome to the moment we left and our waiter Kumbirayi was especially friendly and very helpful. We visited this place on the 23rd of July for a birthday lunch as a party of ten and what a wonderful way to spend the day.

The food was in very generous portions, fast prepared and very very very delicious. For the birthday girl, they even had a complimentary dessert and not just a lame looking last minute thing but I'm talking several layers of icecream presented neatly and beautifully.

Now to the atmosphere. Their instagram page does not do the place justice. You want a quiet, unique out of this world place. Alo alo is just the place to visit. It is clearly a cat loving restaurant and I just loved what they did with all the decorations, makes you regard that cat association with old single bored ladies as utter nonsense!

At this point there isn't more I could say that would do the place justice. A must visit. And a 5 star in all...

Great place for sumptuous cuisines, the food is of high standard, prepared and served stylishly and appealingly ,,,the place is located in an attractive location carefully designed and stylish. It is one of Harare's best known restaurants. They offer the a LA carte menu and lunchtime section, the latter offering two courses for $18 or 3 for $22 this menu is changed from time to time. Foods saved hear include mushrooms in breadcrumbs with a tangy source, bacon and potato fritters for starters, for mains just to mention a few Shepherd's pie fritters, poached hake fillet, both meals are accompanied by broccoli. Butternut, mashed potatoes, salad and delicate French fries. For dessert enjoy the mouth watering attractive well...

My recent visit to Alo Alo Restaurant was mixed. While the atmosphere has potential, the experience was somewhat underwhelming. The service felt lackluster, with waitstaff appearing disengaged and overly focused on chatting with guests instead of providing attentive service.

The food had its moments. We ordered chicken and chips and other several dishes, which were alright, though a bit bland. The chicken livers stood out as a highlight, and the malva pudding was delicious—a definite hit. The lighting could also be improved, especially at night, to enhance the ambiance and dining experience. Alo Alo has potential, but some adjustments could...
