Seaesta Hotel Experience in Komodo 🌟
Seaesta is pretty well-known around here. The overall vibe is a clean, white-and-blue Mediterranean-European style—which is pretty unique for Komodo Island. It gives the whole place a fresh and tidy feel. (Though not entirely, haha.) 😌 The hotel combines a hostel with private rooms—there are dorms for eight people and separate double rooms. When we arrived, we noticed quite a few solo backpackers staying in the hostel. Lots of single travelers, too. From 6 PM to 11 PM, the rooftop bar hosts all kinds of events—girls in bikinis, guys going shirtless, perfect for meeting new people (mostly Westerners, but plenty of locals come here too). The nightlife is pretty lively. 🏖️🌴🎉 The price is pretty reasonable—we paid around ¥400 RMB per night. The staff were super friendly, and English wasn’t an issue. (Though the Wi-Fi in my room was kinda weak. 🤔) Now, the biggest downside from my experience? The sheets weren’t clean—there were some water stains (not sure if from previous "adventures" or just neglect) and dirt marks. 😖 But by the time we noticed, it was almost 11 PM, and the staff were about to finish their shift, so we just didn’t bother asking for a change. They don’t provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, but they do give you towels and bottled water (two per room, though you can refill more outside if needed). 🧊🚰 Other than the sheets, the stay was actually pretty nice. A lot of people just lounge by the pool or on the bar’s sofa beds, scrolling through their phones—I’m still not sure what some of them came here for. 📱🏊♂️🛋️ All in all, I’d still recommend this hotel, especially since, after checking out a few others, it’s definitely one of the better-looking ones around. 🏆👍 #Komodo #KomodoHotels
