Toronto Hike | Boyne Valley Adventure 🌿
July 26th, Saturday 📏 Distance: 15.2km ⬆️ Elevation Gain: 503m ⏱️ Time: 3h 50min Nowadays, if I don’t hike on weekends, my legs start itching for adventure! Trail Highlights: 🌾 Scenic Farm Views: Passed vast fields of crops (experts, ID these plants!). 🌸 Wildflowers Galore: Bright pops of color along the path. ⛰️ Mini Summit: A small hill with panoramic views of farmland and greenery. 🍏 Wild Snacks: Found sour wild apples and sweet berries. Trail Conditions: ✅ 80% Great: Soft dirt paths, minimal rocks—easy on the knees. 🚨 20% NIGHTMARE: • Chest-high wild grass (no visible trail). • Hidden holes/uneven ground = ankle-twist central. • Thorny plants = long pants/softshell MUST. • We noped out early and scrambled up a 75° slope instead (do not recommend!). Logistics: 🅿️ No parking at official start—drive to the alternate trailhead. Verdict: 👍 Peaceful & pretty (few hikers!). 👎 Skip the overgrown sections—not worth the pain. #TorontoHiking #TrailLife #ExploreOntario #HikeMoreWorryLess #NatureTherapy
