πΆββοΈ Heading to Moab to See the Arches
On the way from Virgin to Moab, we spotted a beautiful canyon β Spent Wolf Canyon β perfect for a quick stop to stretch your legs and take some photos! πΈβ¨ We spent two days and three nights in Moab and saw over a dozen stone arches. Besides the ones in the national parks, there are also many along the highways, like Wilson Arch on Highway 191 β not only stunning but also free! ποΈπ« Moab is fully equipped for tourism: off-roading, paragliding, rafting, cycling, hiking, rock climbing β you name it! Itβs literally an outdoor loverβs paradise ποΈπ€©. Almost every accommodation and cafΓ© has its own merch, and a lot of it is really well designed. Arches National Park requires advance reservations on recreation.gov between 7 AM and 4 PM (no permit needed before 7 AM or after 4 PM). Since we had 1 PM reservations both days, we visited the no-reservation-needed Canyonlands National Park first. If possible, entering Arches in the morning is better β hopping between two parks in one day was pretty tiring! π Near Canyonlands, thereβs also Dead Horse Point State Park (not covered by the national parks pass β entry is $16 for two people). We watched the sunset and stars from the outlook, but honestly, many viewpoints in the national parks offer similar vibes. You might not necessarily need to come here. π β #ArchesNationalPark #CanyonlandsNationalPark #DeadHorsePoint #Utah #Moab #Hiking
