“Albany | Large-portioned and Delicious Northeast Chinese Restaurant”

This Time in Albany, I Tried a Northeast Chinese Restaurant – Northeast Chinese (900 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12206) Northeast Chinese cuisine always comes with huge portions. 🍩 Two of us ordered 4 dishes, and they lasted us exactly 2 meals. I’ll definitely go back to try other items on the menu.🌮🌮 Tossed Assorted Vegetables 🍭🍭I ordered this dish because we also got braised pork ribs (the main course) and wanted some fresh, light greens to cut through the richness. I thought it would include cauliflower or broccoli, but it turned out to be a mix of tossed cold vegetables… Still, it’s sweet, sour, and 😼refreshing – perfect for balancing the grease.🍱🍱 Braised Pork Ribs (Our “Heavyweight” Dish)🍞🍞 The meat is well-marinated, incredibly tender, and falls off the bone easily – rich but not greasy. As soon as I finished gnawing the meat off one rib, I picked up a spoon to slurp the bone marrow right away. Hunan-Style Sautéed Pork🍚 The fatty pork belly is rich but not oily, with a bold spicy flavor – it goes great with rice and is really delicious. 🍲🍲Clay Pot Braised Pork Belly with Cabbage and Tofu This dish was a surprise – it’s surprisingly light, so much so that it felt “nourishing” (in a healthy way)… The braised pork belly melts in your mouth without being greasy; the tofu and cabbage are well-infused with flavor; and there’s also chewy sweet potato wide noodles (the “essence” of the dish). 🍚 It tastes like a taste of home for Northeast Chinese people – highly recommended!🍉 Overall, it’s really nice to have such good food in Albany!🍔🍔 #NortheastChineseCuisine #NewYork #Albany #AlbanyRestaurants #BraisedPorkRibs #ClayPotStew#ChineseFood #FoodExploration #NewYorkSurroundings #NewYorkState #UniversityAtAlbanySUNY #AlbanyNewYork #SUNY
