☆ Portland | 3 Days & 2 Nights Itinerary ✩
How to spend the BC Day long weekend? Escape Vancouver and head straight to Portland—after all, with tax-free shopping and stunning scenery, who could say no? Driving a Tesla the entire trip was absolutely fantastic—it saved money, took the stress out of travel, and there was zero range anxiety. If you’re thinking about a road trip in an electric car, don’t hesitate at all! 🚗 Day 1: Intense "Special Forces" Style Exploration Vancouver → Long Beach, WADrive directly to Long Beach, a cozy coastal town that feels a bit like White Rock. Wandering around here is super chill, but the real magic lies in the scenery along the way—you’ll pass mountains, rivers, fields, forests, wheat paddies, and even cute animals 🐑. Every stretch of the drive is a delight for the eyes. Long Beach → Airplane Home ✈️The elderly gentleman who owns this unique home is incredibly kind and friendly—and he actually lives in the airplane full-time! Seeing this one-of-a-kind house nestled in the forest was truly stunning; it’s also a perfect spot for photos. It just goes to show: people who love life can create a wonderful home anywhere. Dinner at LechonThis spot is hailed as Portland’s top South American restaurant, and it completely lived up to the hype. Both the ambiance and the dishes deserve high praise—they were way more delicious than expected. Highly recommend giving their signature plates a try! 🍴 Day 2: Mountain & Water Adventures Today was all about soaking up the sunshine and clear blue skies! Morning Coffee & Bakery Stop ✩ Casestudy Coffee: A popular local coffee chain—their brews are smooth and full of rich flavor, perfect for starting the day ☕. ✩ Ken’s Artisan Bakery: A must-visit for bread lovers! There was already a line when we arrived in the morning, and the aroma of freshly baked bread wafting out was impossible to resist 🥐. Scenic Spot Tour ✩ Vista House at Crown Point: A breathtaking mountain-top viewpoint. The panoramic views here are totally worth the drive, letting you take in the vast beauty of the area 🏞️. ✩ Multnomah Falls: A must-see waterfall! There’s no need to hike up—taking photos from the bottom is more than enough to capture its grandeur 🚿. ✩ Rowena Crest Viewpoint: This was my favorite spot of the day and the biggest surprise! Promise me you’ll add it to your list—it’s the kind of place where you can snap "once-in-a-lifetime" photos. Drive to the top, and you’ll be greeted by winding mountain roads and water below, creating a vibe that feels like a desert highway. Even pictures can’t fully capture how amazing it is! Dinner at Ringside Steakhouse 🥩This century-old steakhouse needs no lengthy introduction—its dishes are top-notch. Plus, it offers free valet parking, which is a nice little perk for travelers. Day 3: Chill Shopping & Return Trip Today was all about relaxing and shopping (thanks to Oregon’s tax-free policy—we wanted to buy almost everything we saw!). ✩ Less And More: Another great local coffee chain, offering a variety of delicious lattes. Grab a cup to fuel your morning adventures ☕. ✩ Pioneer Place: The ideal spot for shopping—stock up on whatever items you’ve been wanting, without worrying about sales tax 🛍️. ✩ Powell’s City of Books 📖: A legendary bookstore you simply can’t miss.
