【LA Hiking】Icehouse Canyon 🥾⛰️

📍 Hiked Icehouse Canyon near Mt. Baldy earlier this month—a solid 9-mile route that took about 5.5 hours to complete! ☁️ Early June temperatures were mild, but shade was limited—sunscreen is a must! 🧴☀️ Also, bugs were active, so bring insect repellent too. 🦟 🧗 The first half follows a creek with some shade but is quite steep. The second half is a loop—go counterclockwise for the best experience! 🔁 The turnaround point marked by AllTrails leads to a peaceful wooded area perfect for a picnic 🍃🧺, or you can push further to reach the summit for extra miles and epic views.
