🌊【Long Beach One-Day Leisure Tour|Casual Family Trip with Kids】
It’s a relaxing and unhurried one-day trip to Long Beach that both the elderly and kids enjoyed so much✅! Check in at California’s stunning beach, visit the aquarium, take a walk, eat seafood, and enjoy the sea breeze—slow down the pace and fill your heart with happiness🤩! 1. First Stop: Aquarium of the Pacific 🐬 🚗Transportation: About 40 minutes’ drive from Irvine, with smooth traffic~ 🎫Tickets: $44.9 for adults, $34.9 for children. It’s highly recommended to buy tickets on Groupon in advance for better value! 🅿️Parking Tips (Important‼️): Search for “Aquarium Parking” on navigation. Don’t follow the long line of cars on the main road to enter the parking lot! Enter from the entrance of Dolphin Plaza on the other side—no waiting at all, super time-saving, personally tested effective✅! I originally wanted to drop off the elderly and kids at the aquarium entrance first before parking, and accidentally found this amazing entrance, so great! ✨Experience: The aquarium is not very big, only two floors, but it’s super rich in content, with all kinds of marine life. The kids were staring wide-eyed👀! It takes about 3 hours to wander around slowly, not tiring at all—both the elderly and kids can handle it easily~ 2. Second Stop: Walk at Shoreline Park 🚶♀️ Right at the entrance of the aquarium is the ticket office and boarding point for Harbor Breeze Cruises🚢. Those who want to go out to sea for coastal sightseeing or whale watching🐳 can go for it~ We focused on a casual trip this time, so we didn’t take the cruise~ Walk right after exiting the aquarium, and you can enter Shoreline Park. Walk slowly along the seaside, enjoying the gentle sea breeze—it’s so comfortable😌! Walk to the landmark lighthouse, and you can look far away at the famous Queen Mary cruise ship🛳️ (the Queen Mary), which is super photogenic! Find a spot on the grass under the lighthouse to rest. Across the bank is the scenic town of Shoreline Village. The most striking red building is Parkers' Lighthouse, the seafood restaurant we’re going to later—lock the target in advance🔒~ The view of this park is amazing, and the overall atmosphere is super chill. It’s highly recommended to come for a walk~ 3. Third Stop: Food Check-in at Shoreline Village 🍤 Walk from the park, pass by the harbor along the way, and you can see a lot of yachts and colorful seaside cottages🏡. They are super beautiful, and every random shot is a California-style blockbuster~ Shoreline Village is a lively commercial street focusing on various catering. We went straight to our destination——Parkers' Lighthouse, a paradise for seafood lovers🦞! 🍽️Must-Try Food List (No Mistakes‼️): - Oysters 🦪: Fresh and juicy, super satisfying with one bite~ - Sashimi 🍣: Tender meat, excellent taste, loved by both the elderly and kids~ - Cioppino 🍚: Super full of ingredients, rich seafood flavor, the soup with rice is amazing~ - Fried Fish & Chips 🍟: Kids’ favorite, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, not greasy~ - Our Famous "Garlic Cheese Bread" Burger 🍔: Highly recommended! Rich garlic flavor, melted cheese, super healing with one bite~ 4. Fourth Stop: Coastal Cycling & Chase the Sunset 🌅 📝Original Plan: Take a boat or rent a bike to visit Naples Island (Little Venice) and The Colonnade Canal to experience the water style~ 😌Temporary Adjustment: After wandering around for most of the day, the elderly and kids were a bit tired, so we resolutely gave up the original plan, focusing on flexibility and casualness~ ✨Pleasant Surprise: We rented a 6-person bike🚲 at Wheel Fun Rentals next to the seafood restaurant. Took the whole family cycling by the sea, enjoying the sea breeze and the beautiful sunset. The elderly smiled happily, and the kids clapped excitedly👏~ For the bike rental location and price, please refer to Figure 14~ Overall, it was a super satisfying casual family trip with kids. The rhythm was slow, the scenery was amazing, the food was delicious, and the whole family had a great time~ For those who come to Los Angeles to play, a one-day trip to Long Beach is really a must✅! #LongBeach #AquariumOfThePacific #LongBeachAquarium #LosAngelesTravel #LongBeachOneDayTour #LongBeachFood #ShorelinePark #ShorelineVillage #ParkersLighthouse #CaliforniaTravel #CasualFamilyTrip #LosAngelesDayTrip
