๐บ๐ธ A&J Seafood in Long Beach โ Honest Review ๐ฆ
Tried the much-hyped A&J Seafood in Long Beach โ itโs good, but not mind-blowing. Probably not worth a special trip if youโre not already in the area. ๐๐จ Hereโs what we ordered: ๐ฆ Garlic Shrimp Over Rice โ Classic and fragrant, but the rice sits in a thick layer of oil at the bottom, making it pretty soggy. ๐โฝ ๐ Salmon Dish โ Just okay, nothing special. The salad on the side was tangy and refreshing though! ๐ฅโจ ๐ฆ Crab (Seasonal Price: $45 each) โ Cooked in a style similar to spicy crab but without the heat โ more sweet than spicy. Decent flavor, but not exceptional. The vibe is casual and low-key โ definitely a local spot, not a fancy destination. Service was friendly but no-frills. ๐ Pros: Good if youโre craving garlic shrimp Solid portions Laid-back atmosphere ๐ Cons: Too oily for some dishes Not exceptional in flavor Parking can be tricky โ typical for Long Beach ๐ Overall: Itโs tasty, but I wouldnโt go out of my way to eat here again. Maybe if I lived nearby! ๐ก If youโre in the area and want a quick seafood fix, itโs not a bad choice โ just keep expectations in check. ๐ A&J Seafood Shack ๐ Check Google Maps for latest hours & location #LongBeachEats #SeafoodReview #AandJSeafood #FoodieHonestReview #NotWorthTheHype #EatLocal #LAFoodScene
