【Nashville Food Review】
Just went all out eating my way through Nashville during a conference—tried almost all the famous recommendations from 🍽️📒 📍 Osh Restaurant & Grill Tried two Uzbek restaurants (my go-to Xinjiang cuisine substitutes): Uzbegim Halal Restaurant and Osh. Uzbegim was a bit slow with service, and their lamb skewers were dry/overcooked. Osh was better! Highly recommend their lagman noodles, plov (rice pilaf), and lamb skewers. 🚨 Their yogurt is salty with an herbal taste—order with caution! 📍 Milk & Honey Gulch Visited two popular brunch spots—Biscuit Love and Milk & Honey. Both ordered the classic chicken & biscuit combo. Tasted pretty similar tbh—not mind-blowing, but worth a try if you’ve never had it! 📍 The Iberian Pig All the tapas were delicious—no disappointments! Desserts were also great—not too sweet 😌. Their paella was just okay, pretty average. ℹ️ Reservations available on Google! 📍 Shaokao HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 🍢 It’s rare to find such complete and authentic Chinese BBQ in the U.S.—the seasoning truly took me back home. Must-tries: pig trotters, chicken wings, lamb skewers. Noodles were just fine. Expect waits on weekends—groups of 6+ can call ahead for reservations. Also tried the famous Hattie B’s Hot Chicken—smelled amazing but was way too salty 🥤🧂. Overall, Nashville is super fun—clean, safe, packed with bars, and a pilgrimage site for country music lovers 🤠🎸. Mammoth Cave was also a cool experience! Highly recommend visiting. My only regret: didn’t make it to Blue Bird Café 🥲. If you want to go, remember to book tickets online in advance! #NashvilleBBQ #SouthernFood #MeatLovers #FoodieReview #MartinBBQ #NashvilleEats
