【Palm Springs Food Discovery】Sukiyaki in the Desert 🍲🏜️

With an impressive 4.6-star rating, we decided to give this place a try – and unsurprisingly, not a single dish disappointed! 👍 On a cold and windy November day, nothing beats warming up with a hot pot like this. The restaurant offers individual hot pots. We ordered the Miso and Sukiyaki broth combo. The Miso broth is described as spicy, but it’s actually very mild 🌶️❄️, while the Sukiyaki has a slightly sweet flavor – both were delicious! 🐟 The seafood platter was incredibly fresh. It was my first time trying boiled salmon and yellowtail in a hot pot – and they were amazing! 🥩 The beef slices were huge – almost too big to eat in one bite! 🐂✨ Dipping them in egg whites before cooking made the meat incredibly tender. We ended up ordering a second plate! 🥟 The gyoza (pan-fried dumplings) were also excellent – thin skin, generous filling, and perfectly crispy on the outside. 🍜 At the end, the restaurant served complimentary udon noodles – don’t skip these! All the essence of the broth is absorbed into the noodles. Their texture was somewhere between ramen and classic udon – absolutely fantastic 👏💯. 📌 Pro tip: Make a reservation in advance! This place is always packed, and most guests have bookings. Walk-ins may have to wait quite a while. Overall, if you’re in the desert, don’t miss this spot! Highly recommended! 🏜️❤️ #FoodDiscovery #IrvineEats #IrvineFood #LAFood #JapaneseCuisine #Sukiyaki #HotPot #Wagyu #DesertOasis #PalmSprings #FoodieShare #TravelEats
