【Seattle】Recently Tried Korean Sea Salt Rolls & Sweet Treats
Haven’t posted this series in a while! 😄 I recently tried two Korean-style sea salt rolls from Seattle-based IG bakers: 🍞 lazy bread club 🍞 twenty2bakes_ Both operate via weekly pre‑order drops — check their IG for schedules and menus. 📅✨ Personally, I preferred lazy.bread.club — cute packaging 🎀, smaller and more delicate rolls, and the flavors suited my taste better this round. While picking up the bread, I swung by Sconers — a super‑cute Korean‑style bakery 🧸 Taste‑wise, the scones with cream filling were better; otherwise, they’re pretty classic scones. Still craving persimmon cake after Shanghai, my awesome friend 🐢✨ baked me a molten persimmon & black sesame roll — and the kicker: it’s made with glutinous rice batter! Absolutely heavenly 🌟, instantly reminded me of Ita’s famous cakes. The baker said there’ll be a pop‑up on Dec 13‑14 — don’t miss it! 📢 And here’s my quick‑fix recreation of this year’s trendy "Molten Persimmon Dream Chocolate‑Crunch Yogurt Bowl" — dangerously easy, ingredients are all in the pic. Lazy version: I didn’t even wait for fresh persimmons to soften — just used Korean frozen persimmons (available year‑round at H‑Mart or Weee!). 🧊🍅 #SeattleEats #SeattleBakeries #KoreanBread #SeaSaltRolls #PersimmonDessert #GlutinousRiceCake #FoodieRecreation #StudentRecipes #SweetTooth
