š“šļø Los Angeles Parks
Though Los Angeles boasts numerous gardens and parks, weekends often mean crowds of tourists. This place, near beaches like Santa Monica, offers a tranquil escape and, with its reservation system, avoids congestion. The temple is not vast, but it's well-planned and beautifully landscaped. The gardens are particularly worth a visit. They feature religious elements with sculptures, artworks, and architecture from major denominations such as Buddhism, Judaism, and Christianity scattered throughout. Additionally, there are many benches within the garden, providing visitors with spots for meditation. š The staff are very warm and polite, offering to explain the history of the temple and some religious culture. Before leaving, you can also visit the gift shop and a very small but exquisite museum. The entire garden can be toured in under 1 hour, and if you're looking to meditate, you can complete your visit in about 2 hours. Admission is free, but reservations must be made in advance on the official website; walk-ins are not accepted. Every Monday at 10 AM, the website opens up reservation spots for the week, on a first-come, first-served basis. š¢ Please note: Loud noise is not allowed; maintain silence to not disturb other meditators. Commercial photography is not permitted, and taking too many portrait photos may result in reminders from the staff. It's about a 30-minute drive from most parts of Los Angeles, 1 hour from Irvine, and approximately 2.5 hours from San Diego. #NatureSceneryShare #BeautifulScenery #UnmissableView #HeavenlyRealm
