While London is a super popular city for travel, it is also SUPER expensive! π± Honestly, the prices for everything (food, travel, accoms, etc.) are quite ridiculous, especially for a Singaporean living abroad. But, I've found a few places where you can actually eat out without breaking the bank!!! π¦ Not to mention, you'll definitely leave with a full stomach too! No more pathetic sandwiches for budget girlies like us! π ββοΈ π Pizza Pilgrims Pizza Pilgrims is a popular pizza chain in London that actually sells really good pizza! π₯ They're known for their sourdough crust, and for good reasonβthe crust is absolutely delicious! I got the smokey aubergine parm, and it genuinely surprised me! The aubergine was sweet while the parm was salty, paired with the slight tang of the tomato sauce as the base of the pizza. I devoured an entire pizza on my own, and it was only Β£10.75! π€ Definitely great value for the quality of food here. π Marugame Udon Yet another chain, Marugame Udon is known for their cheap and yet quality udon bowls! π² They serve 3 different portions: small, regular, and large. I got the chicken katsu curry in large (because my boyfriend wanted to share), and it was pretty yummy. It's definitely far from the best udon I've had, but it satisfied my Asian tastebuds. π₯’ For <Β£10, you can get a decent bowl of noodles to fill you up!
