🏕️ Bass Lake Weekend Camping PLOG | New Menu Unlocked! 🍔🔥

📍 Bass Lake Provincial Park – Just 1.5 hours from Toronto, right by Lake Simcoe—the perfect quick escape! 🍖 Day 1: Grilling & Games (and Some Chaos…) 🔥 No fire ban? No problem! We brought a new griddle for the double burner—burgers AND BBQ at the same time! 🍔🥓 But wow, August heat + cooking = sweat city! 🥵 🎲 Post-dinner vibes: Animal Crossing Monopoly 🐾 + Pokémon Master battles—couldn’t stop playing! 😤 The downsides: • Zero privacy – Sites are way too close (our neighbors, a very chatty Indian family, stayed up laughing till 2 AM 😤). • Midnight raccoon raid 🦝 – They destroyed our trash bag… camping chaos at its finest. 🍳 Day 2: Pasta, Trails & Iced Rescues 🍝 Breakfast: Dudu’s pre-made pasta (tomato meat sauce = SO rich & chewy!). 🌿 Short trail walk – Gorgeous boardwalk through reeds, clean lake views (great for fishing/boating… but too hot to stay long). 🌟 Lifesaver: Starbucks’ Pink Drink + Matcha 💚💖 – Hydration hero of the trip! Final Verdict: ✅ Beautiful scenery, super close to Toronto. ❌ Cramped sites, noisy neighbors = not ideal for peace. 🌟 3/5 – Worth a try, but pack earplugs! Ever camped at Bass Lake? Share your stories (or raccoon battles) below! ⬇️🌲 #TorontoCamping #BassLake #WeekendGetaway #CampingLife #OntarioParks #CampfireCooking #ExploreOntario #CampingProblems
