🍽️ Berlin Diary | Super Cozy Restaurant in the Bustling City Corner
This restaurant is located near Rosenthaler platz in Mitte, right next to the colorful Vietnamese restaurant. Situated on a street corner, it doesn't have a conspicuous sign, and the lighting inside is not particularly bright. From the outside, you can see that it's quite packed with people sitting at the bar, by the small round tables, and there are two large wine walls. It's perfect for a small gathering of 2-4 friends and has a great atmosphere. The menu includes a variety of dishes from all 16 Italian regions, with slight daily changes, and the restaurant boasts around 200 types of wine. Many people go there for drinks, but of course, the food is also excellent! 🏠Octopus and Potato Salad The dishes I ordered were ones that caught my eye on Google Maps. The salad portion was generous, and with a squeeze of lemon juice, the chewy and tender octopus was especially fresh. The potatoes were also fragrant, complemented by some unknown little green beans that tasted like chive flowers. It was so refreshing that I felt I could eat a whole serving by myself. I really, really loved it! 🏠Garlic Clam Pasta The first bite was explosively fragrant! I shamelessly wished for a packet of chili powder at that moment! The taste was quite to my liking, with a rich garlic aroma, and olive oil coating every strand of pasta. The pasta's texture was just right, the clams were well-cleaned with no sand, and the portion was so large that I couldn't finish the last two bites. I'd give it an 8/10... 🏠Venison Cheese Pasta My friend ordered this, and it smelled and tasted like a classic Italian meat sauce. It felt like Bolognese should taste, and upon checking, it seems their Bolognese pasta is a must-try. I also want to try their black truffle cream rice next time. 🏠Average cost per person: 40€ It's worth trying, with a great gathering atmosphere, and it's recommended to book a table in advance. #BerlinDiary #BerlinLife #HiddenGemRestaurantShare #WeekendExploration #ItalianRestaurant #BerlinFood
