🍽️ Charlotte Plog | Not Entirely a Food Desert 😉

It’s already my second month in Charlotte! 🌿 Recently went to Crowders Mountain – classic NC views with beautiful mountains and trees ⛰️🌳. Perfect weekend hike! Also discovered some nice restaurants – sharing a few favs: 🥣 44 Mills Kitchen Tap A cool Western restaurant 🍽️. Their strawberry & burrata dish is SO good – the burrata is delicious 🤤. Loved the Steak Parardelle Pasta too! With mushroom and a touch of sour cream – not heavy at all. 🥣 Great Wall Located next to Super G Mart Pineville 🛒. Several small eateries there – one even does bubble tea! 🧋 Tried their Pork Trotter Rice and HK-Style Brisket Rice – both decent, but the brisket wins for me 👍. 🥣 Bulla Gastrobar Spanish restaurant near SouthPark 🇪🇸. Their paella is generous and tasty 🥘🦐. Brisket Montaditos were yummy too! But personally… I still prefer Miro Spanish Grille 😊. 🥣 Ray Lay Thai South Blvd Their Thai milk tea is pretty good 🧋! But the Pad Thai tasted a bit off – almost like sweet chili sauce? 🤔 Okay if you’re craving Thai, but not the most authentic. 🥣 Malaya Kitchen LOVE their Hainanese Chicken Rice 🐔! Huge portion, tender chicken, and the fried rice is super fragrant. Classic stir-fried noodles and calamari were decent too. 🥣 Ruby Sunshine Brunch spot 🍳! Their bread has a unique flair.
