๐ฝ๏ธ Charlotte Plog | Not Entirely a Food Desert ๐
Itโs already my second month in Charlotte! ๐ฟ Recently went to Crowders Mountain โ classic NC views with beautiful mountains and trees โฐ๏ธ๐ณ. Perfect weekend hike! Also discovered some nice restaurants โ sharing a few favs: ๐ฅฃ 44 Mills Kitchen Tap A cool Western restaurant ๐ฝ๏ธ. Their strawberry & burrata dish is SO good โ the burrata is delicious ๐คค. Loved the Steak Parardelle Pasta too! With mushroom and a touch of sour cream โ not heavy at all. ๐ฅฃ Great Wall Located next to Super G Mart Pineville ๐. Several small eateries there โ one even does bubble tea! ๐ง Tried their Pork Trotter Rice and HK-Style Brisket Rice โ both decent, but the brisket wins for me ๐. ๐ฅฃ Bulla Gastrobar Spanish restaurant near SouthPark ๐ช๐ธ. Their paella is generous and tasty ๐ฅ๐ฆ. Brisket Montaditos were yummy too! But personallyโฆ I still prefer Miro Spanish Grille ๐. ๐ฅฃ Ray Lay Thai South Blvd Their Thai milk tea is pretty good ๐ง! But the Pad Thai tasted a bit off โ almost like sweet chili sauce? ๐ค Okay if youโre craving Thai, but not the most authentic. ๐ฅฃ Malaya Kitchen LOVE their Hainanese Chicken Rice ๐! Huge portion, tender chicken, and the fried rice is super fragrant. Classic stir-fried noodles and calamari were decent too. ๐ฅฃ Ruby Sunshine Brunch spot ๐ณ! Their bread has a unique flair. Tried two different Benedicts โ pretty good, but I still prefer Snooze AM Eatery ๐ . #Charlotte #NorthCarolina #Foodie #NCFood #WorkLife #CharlotteEats #FoodReview
