🌶️ Chong Qing Shi Fu in Worcester, MA – Finally Tried It! 🎉

Heard so much about this place, and finally had a chance to visit! Overall, it’s delicious – the only downside is it’s pretty far out there 😅 Here’s what we ordered: 🦆 Konjac Duck– Chewy, spicy, and deeply flavorful! 🐔 Chong Qing Mouthwatering Chicken – Savory, numbing, aromatic – classic Sichuan! 🍜 Chong Qing Cold Noodles – Peanutty, tangy, with a nice kick! We also tried the Kung Pao Chicken – and yes, it’s very Americanized 🍯🍗. My theory: since it’s one of the most popular Chinese dishes among Americans, even the most authentic Sichuan spots adjust it to local tastes. So note to self (and you!): never judge a Sichuan restaurant by its Kung Pao Chicken in the U.S. 😂 That’s the opposite of how it works in China! A sweet touch though – we ordered the Kung Pao as a "lunch special," and the restaurant kindly gave us two portions of rice without extra charge 🍚❤️.
