LA’s food scene never disappoints — here’s my latest tasty roundup: 1️⃣ Handles Coffee – A bit sweet but lovely space — perfect for sunny afternoons. ☀️ 2️⃣ Hangari Kalguksu – Pork belly wraps & grilled neck were delicious but rich. A large plate feeds three easily! 🥬🍖 3️⃣ Sul & Beans – Sweet post-meal treat. Matcha red bean was sugary; corn flavor was fun (like childhood candy!). 🌽🍧 4️⃣ Sqirl – Just okay. Dry bread, tough rice salad, tough parking. Should’ve tried Courage Bagels next door! 🥯 5️⃣ PINK PIG JOKBAL – Braised pork trotters (spicy & fried) were fantastic! Set meal for four is plenty. Side dishes refillable — big plus! 🐷👍 6️⃣-7️⃣ Quat La – Pretty drinks & pastries (from Foundry Bakery). Hidden spot — enter through the side path! 🍹🌿 8️⃣ Meet Fresh – Taro balls were the star! Other toppings decent. Mochi was just okay — homemade vibes. 🍠 9️⃣ Lu Niang Spicy Pot – Must-order crispy duck in soup — skin soaks up broth perfectly! Spicy, flavorful, and so good. Wish we had room for cold noodles! 🦆🌶️ 🔟 Cafe De Mama (Ktown) – My go-to! Mugwort latte tastes like sweet rice dumplings 🍡, and seasonal persimmon milk is a delight.
