❄️ Fairbanks
❄️ Fairbanks|Eat Well Even When You're Far From Home Fairbanks is actually a pretty small town—you can drive from south to north in about half an hour 😄🚗 🥢 First Stop: Thai House Restaurant 📍 Address: 412 5th Ave, Fairbanks, AK 99701 A Thai restaurant with great reviews in town—I’ve always felt Thai food is rarely a disappointment, no matter where you are! We ordered: ✔️ Thai Fried Rice ✔️ Tom Yum Soup ✔️ Scallop Stew ✔️ Stir-Fried Water Spinach Overall impression: Solid and reliable, flavors met our expectations 👍 🫓 Second Stop: Aurora Crepes & Peking Duck 📍 Address: 512 Old Steese Hwy, Fairbanks, AK 99701 This was our late-night snack on the second day 🥡🌙. They specialize in savory & sweet crepes + creative Peking duck dishes—aka jianbing (Chinese-style crepes)! We ordered: 🦆 Peking Duck Crepe – Honestly, it was pretty well put together and tastier than I expected! 🍜 Braised Beef Noodles – Sometimes you just crave a warm bowl of noodles when you’re traveling 😋 🥡 Tip: Service was a bit slow, and word online says the staff can be unfriendly 😐. So go with low expectations to keep your trip vibe positive! 🦀 Third Stop: Chowder House 📍 Address: 206 Eagle Ave, Fairbanks, AK 99701 This place deserves a full five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️—we actually went twice in three days! 👇 ⭐️ King Crab – Plump, sweet, and full of flavor 🦀💖 🥪 Crab Leg Sandwich – One bite and you’re in heaven. Fell in love just looking at the photo! 🍤 Butter Garlic Shrimp – Juicy and meaty 🧈🍤 🥩 Beef Sandwich – Tender and delicious 🍲 Signature Clam Chowder – THIS is the flavor I’ve been missing!!! Never found one this good in LA 🥘❤️ 🌈🌈 Overall: Friends, we ate well these three days—it met and even exceeded expectations! 😊🍽️ #Food#GlobalFoodSquad#Fairbanks#KingCrab#Alaska#Travel#FoodReview
