🖼️ Helsinki, Finland Must-Visit: Amos Rex Art Museum 🖼️
For friends traveling to Helsinki, Finland, especially EU students, I highly recommend visiting Helsinki's most famous art museum: Amos Rex! Amos Rex is an art museum where the past, present, and future intersect. It is located under the iconic dome designed by JKMM Architects and within the 1930s functionalist Lasipalatsi (Glass Palace) building. The exterior of the art museum venue is truly very design-oriented and creative! Inside the museum, we can see a variety of exhibitions featuring the latest experimental contemporary art, modern classics, and ancient cultures. The exhibitions bring together multiple styles and characteristic elements, with each piece being worth seeing and full of surprises. It is a museum that is definitely worth visiting! The museum staff are tall, serious-looking Finnish guys. Finns may seem very aloof on the surface. I picked up a small exhibition booklet at the entrance, and a staff member immediately came over and said to me: "This is finish." Me 😳 confused: "What do you mean?" Him 😄: "Finish." Me 🤔 thinking for a while... Him 😀: "You speak Finnish? Those are English." Pointing to the other booklets. Me 🥹: "Ahhhh, Sorry I thought you said finish. Hahahahhh" ‼️ EU students only need to show their student card for a 5💶 entry ticket 🎫 #Helsinki #Finland #FinlandTravel #HelsinkiTourism #HelsinkiExplore #HelsinkiLife #FinnishMuseums #ArtMuseum
