🏙️ Hotel Review: Dallas Hyatt Incomplete Guide

Conclusion: ① You get what you pay for. ② Next time, I must bring my camera! ❤️ Thompson Dallas Vibe: Made me feel "It’s good to be alive!" Location: Right above the light rail station, walkable in downtown — perfect for an evening stroll (just watch out for mosquitoes 🦟). Dining: Plenty of food and drink options nearby. The hotel’s own restaurant is worth trying. Downside: Can be noisy due to the street and light rail. 🧡 Grand Hyatt DFW Pros: View: As an Explorist member, I was upgraded to a runway view room — loved the room number too! 😄 Room: Spacious (a New Yorker’s dream!), separate bathtub and shower, large TV, modern electric facilities. Service: Excellent — dedicated contact before check-in and after check-out. Rooftop: Perfect for sunbathing and plane-spotting. ✈️ Cons: Located near the airport — no food delivery options. Limited lunch choices; dinner service was friendlier. Not the best value if you’re not into plane views. 🤍 Hyatt Regency Dallas Meh Experience: Standard Category 3 — nothing special. Service: Average, but they responded quickly to complaints. Issues: TV didn’t work — maintenance was slow to fix. Street noise kept me up all night. Front desk had the coldest attitude among the four hotels I tried (including Courtyard). 🤎 Hyatt Regency DFW The Definition of “You Get What You Pay For” View: My 12th-floor room felt lower than the Grand Hyatt’s 7th floor — and faced the Grand Hyatt I’d just stayed in. Room Change? Front desk said no — blamed ongoing renovations. Pool: Closed during my stay. 6 AM Alarm: Woke to a blaring alarm (not mine!). Front desk said: “Maybe it’s your neighbor’s.” 😤 No Follow-Up: No checkout survey or feedback request — no way to complain officially. Final Thoughts: Splurge-Worthy: Thompson & Grand Hyatt Okay If Necessary: Hyatt Regency Dallas Avoid If Possible: Hyatt Regency DFW #DallasHotels #HyattReview #TravelTips #ThompsonDallas #GrandHyatt
