🍽️ IF YOU CAN ONLY EAT 5 THINGS IN LONDON ... 🍴

London is touted as a food haven, but what exactly is worth eating? After watching lots of TikToks on London food, which all seemed to be rave reviews, but sadly many were disappointing, here are my top 5 MUST TRY food places in London—save this for your next trip! 📲🇬🇧 🥩 Flat Iron This is a very famous steakhouse in London, which was our top favourite! 🏆 We had this thrice during our 5 days in London. Normal steaks are £14, and they have a daily wagyu special (different cuts every day) from £18-22. If you're on a budget, the normal one is good enough! 💸 I love the beef dripping popcorn and ice cream that comes with every steak ordered. Would totally buy them if they were on the menu items! 🍿❄️ 🍰 Humble Crumble The best apple crumble I've had in my life, hands down. 🍎 They have 3 outlets (Borough, Camden, and Spitalfields Market), but the Spitalfields one is the least crowded! Get the warm custard and apple—it's so many textures and temperatures to this dessert! I also tried the elderflower crumble in large size, but it was not great. For some reason, the proportion of custard to crumble in large is a bit off. 🤔 This is around £6.50. 🥞 WhereHumble Crumble I'm not the biggest fan of pancakes, but this one surprised me! I think they are sourdough pancakes? But the pancakes were slightly savoury, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. My only wish is that there'd be more ingredients to go with the pancakes! 🌮 🐟 The Mayfair Chippy Pricey but good fish and chips! For 2, we got 1 cod fish and chips set (with fries and 3 dips) and 1 haddock. Cod in the UK isn't as tasty compared to those we get in SG, so I'd recommend getting haddock if you can only pick one. The set was £22, and the fish itself was around £16. Not cheap, but the batter here is the best we tried, and the portion of chips is huge. 🍟 🍝 Emilia's Handcrafted Pasta Reasonably priced pasta with very generous servings of ingredients! The ravioli was so thick we were comparing it to a wanton. 🥟 Won't be going back to London anytime soon, but I'd definitely revisit these places!
