CAFE UPPER 📍 300 S Hobart Blvd #101, Los Angeles, CA 90020 Found this gem in Ktown — a café that truly has it all: great drinks, tasty desserts, cool industrial design, and plenty of space. Saw lots of people studying or working there! 📚✨ Here’s my personal ranking of what I tried: 🧋 Drinks 🥇 BLACK-SESAME EINSPANNER – $8.50 A black sesame latte where the sesame layer is thick like heizhima hu (black sesame paste) — so rich and fragrant! Comes with a ladyfinger biscuit — a nice touch! 🥈 YUZU LEMON SLUSH – $7.50 Like a frozen honey yuzu tea — super refreshing and not too sweet. Loved it! 🥉 PISTACHIO EINSPANNER – $8.50 The pistachio cream foam tastes just like tiramisu — creamy and dreamy! 🍊 ORANGE ESPRESSO TONIC – $7.50 An orange-infused espresso tonic — basically a fizzy, citrusy Americano. 🍰 Desserts 🧇 TIRAMISU CROFFLE – $15.50 A tiramisu-style waffle with vanilla ice cream. Crispy but a bit sweet for me — still good! 🍧 INJEOLMI SHAVED ICE – $12 (small) A shaved ice dessert with roasted soybean powder and lots of chewy mochi. The small size is super filling! 🍩 STRAWBERRY MILK DONUT – $8 Pretty to photograph, but taste-wise just okay.
