🍽️ Little Spain La Barra – A Small Eater’s Dream! 🐦❤️
La Barra specializes in tapas—perfect for trying lots of different dishes! 🥘 I thought Little Spain had many restaurants inside, but actually, La Barra is the main one, along with a few bars and a separate spot just for paella. 🥂 🐙 Octopus My absolute favorite in Spanish cuisine—so tender! Served with mashed potatoes—such a genius pairing! The potatoes are super smooth, almost like a sauce. 😋👌 🦐 Shrimp Like garlic shrimp in olive oil. The olive oil with crispy fried garlic, paired with complimentary bread—almost steals the show from the shrimp! I usually avoid garlic, but these crispy slices are irresistible! 🧄🍞 🍖 Prosciutto / Jamón We chose the 48-month Iberian ham—a bit drier than usual. I usually love prosciutto with melon, but this was my first time trying the drier style with white wine—still full of flavor! 🥂🐖 🍗 Chicken Croquettes Filled with chicken and maybe potato—pretty standard. Would be even better with a dipping sauce! 🧈 🥐 Ensaimada Planchada Saw others ordering this pastry and had to try! Topped with honey—sweet like a dessert 🍯 Middle has cheese, but the bottom layer tasted like sweet potato with a unique spice—I preferred just the top part. 😅 🥘 Paella You can skip this one! “Paella” just means rice, not necessarily seafood paella. Their version is with rabbit or chicken—pretty average. Better to go to the separate paella spot if you’re craving the real deal! 🐇🍚 #NYCFood #SpanishCuisine #Paella #LittleSpain #HudsonYards #TapasLover #SmallPlates #FoodieNYC #SpanishTapas #EatYourWayThrough #HudsonYardsEats #NYCEats #FoodReview #TryThemAll #DeliciousBites
