Once again, my boyfriend snagged an incredible reservationāthis time at Hoogan et Beaufort, ranked #43 on Canadaās Top 100 Restaurants list. Heās stealing my "food blogger" title at this point! š We opted for the Woodfire Experience (tasting menu), which lets you watch the chefs work their magic in the open kitchen. Highly recommend! ⨠The Experience 8-course meal with flawless pacingā3.5 hours flew by! Each dish paired with a thoughtfully crafted non-alcoholic drink (bartenderās skills = next level). Chefs personally explain ingredient origins and pairingsāyou feel the passion. š“ Standout Courses 𦪠Oyster Trilogy From raw to cooked, the creamy sauce + tender cooked oyster was unreal. š Squash Dip + Fire-Toasted Focaccia Watched them grill each pieceāsmoky, soft, and addictive. š Black Truffle Spaghetti The head chef served it himself, shaving generous truffle on top.
