🍽️ Montreal 48hrs | Canada's Top 100 Restaurants Lives Up to the Hype

Once again, my boyfriend snagged an incredible reservation—this time at Hoogan et Beaufort, ranked #43 on Canada’s Top 100 Restaurants list. He’s stealing my "food blogger" title at this point! 😆 We opted for the Woodfire Experience (tasting menu), which lets you watch the chefs work their magic in the open kitchen. Highly recommend! ✨ The Experience 8-course meal with flawless pacing—3.5 hours flew by! Each dish paired with a thoughtfully crafted non-alcoholic drink (bartender’s skills = next level). Chefs personally explain ingredient origins and pairings—you feel the passion. 🍴 Standout Courses 🦪 Oyster Trilogy From raw to cooked, the creamy sauce + tender cooked oyster was unreal. 🍞 Squash Dip + Fire-Toasted Focaccia Watched them grill each piece—smoky, soft, and addictive. 🍝 Black Truffle Spaghetti The head chef served it himself, shaving generous truffle on top. We almost fainted from the aroma. 🍏 Dessert by the Pastry Chef (Kitchen’s Only Woman!) Fresh apple slices + white beetroot frozen yogurt—light, layered, not overly sweet. 🍹 Non-Alcoholic Pairing ($80) Crafted like fine wine—each drink elevated the dish.
